provider, recognized four professional drivers on March 5 for their
safety achievements during the company’s First Quarter Associate
Recognition Ceremony at its global headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
David Cooke was honored with a 3 million mile accident-free award, while
Daniel Winterbottom, David Vandergriff and Roderic Young each were
presented with a 2 million mile accident-free award.

To date, 1,250 professional Werner drivers have achieved 1 million
accident-free miles, 178 have reached 2 million accident-free miles, 13
have attained 3 million accident-free miles, two have accomplished 4
million accident-free miles and one has accomplished more than 5 million
accident-free miles. Professional Werner drivers who reach safe driving
milestones of 1, 2 or 3 million miles are eligible to order a new truck
and accessories as part of Werner’s three-tiered Million Mile Safe
Driver Truck Program.
