Werner Enterprises Receives Two 2012 Quest for Quality Awards

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2012-- Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), a premier transportation and logistics provider, has been awarded the 2012 Logistics Management Quest for Quality award in the Dry Freight Carriers category, which the Company is a multiple winner of. Additionally, Werner Global Logistics (WGL), a subsidiary of Werner Enterprises, is a first-time recipient of this prestigious award in the 3PL Providers category.

Werner Enterprises was evaluated on five critical areas, including performances, value, information technology, customer service and equipment and operations. To win, the Company’s total weighted score had to exceed the average weighted score for all companies.
