Werner Enterprises' President & CEO Derek Leathers Receives Highway to Victory Award


OMAHA, Neb., Oct. 25, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ:WERN), a premier transportation and logistics provider, is proud to announce that President and Chief Executive Officer Derek Leathers was presented the American Trucking Associations’ (ATA) Highway to Victory Award for outstanding industry advocacy efforts.

In 2017, Leathers testified in front of the Senate Commerce Subcommittee on Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety and Security, emphasizing the need for Congress to work collectively with the industry to improve safety, freight movement, infrastructure investments and workforce development.
