Werner
Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN) professional driver David Green has been
named to the 2015-2016 American Trucking Associations (ATA) America’s
Road Team. Selected from 31 finalists who competed this week before a
panel of judges near ATA’s Arlington, Virginia, headquarters, Green will
serve as a captain with 18 other professional drivers.

A native of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Green has driven with Werner since
1991 and served more than 20 years as a trainer. The U.S. Marine Corps
veteran has achieved more than 2 million accident free miles, has served
on Werner's Road Team and currently drives Freedom 2, one of five trucks
in Werner’s military-themed truck and trailer fleet.

Team represents the country’s more than 3 million professional drivers
and serves as an example of the dedication and teamwork needed to
deliver America’s freight safely and on time. The new captains will
travel the country speaking on behalf of the trucking industry to
communities, news media and public officials while maintaining their
jobs as full-time professional drivers.
