Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN) will host a live radio remote at its
global headquarters in Omaha, Neb., on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 3
p.m. CDT. The SiriusXM Radio show “Road Dog Trucking News” will air
featuring its host Mark Willis with guest speakers to include Werner
President and COO Derek Leathers, Executive Vice President of Driver
Resources Bob Synowicki and Senior Vice President of Operations Steve
Phillips.
“We are truly excited and proud to have this live event at Werner

interact with the trucking community and discuss the most important and
relevant topics with drivers all over the country.”
The remote will take place at the Conestoga building on the Werner
campus. Additional guest speakers during the live remote include Vice
President of Safety and Compliance Jaime Maus, Associate Director of
Government and Field Recruiting Jim Morbach and professional Werner
drivers Charley Endorf, David Conkling and Tom Pietrzak. Other
activities planned include a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a
chance to meet “Road Dog Trucking News” host Mark Willis. Werner will
provide shuttles to and from local travel centers, Sapp Bros located at
the I-80 exit 440 and the Flying J located at the I-80 exit 432, between
10 a.m. and 5 p.m. for drivers to attend. Drivers in the area are
encouraged to take part in this live event designed exclusively for them.
“Road Dog Trucking News” is a daily radio show on SiriusXM’s Road Dog
Trucking Radio on channel 128. Each weekday, the show tackles tough
issues facing truckers today and invites industry executives and experts
to weigh in while keeping drivers informed of all the latest and
pertinent trucking news.
