On Wednesday, April 27, Werner Global Logistics, a subsidiary of premier
transportation and logistics provider Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN),
hosted its Third Annual International Shippers Networking Event. Over 70
international importers, exporters and industry experts from across the
country gathered to discuss the new regulations and challenges currently
affecting the international shipping community.

During the event, Lance Dixon, vice president of Mexico and Canada
Operations, spoke on NAFTA and cross border transportation, and Shay
Garvin, Werner Global Logistics' corporate account executive, gave an
industry update. Laura Pedersen, business development officer of First
National Bank, addressed attendees on letters of credit and incoterm
changes, and Al Klukowski, a cargo specialist with the Transportation
Security Administration, followed with an air cargo security update. In
addition, Joe Chapuran, international development manager for the
Nebraska Department of Economic Development, discussed Nebraska's
reverse trade mission with China, and Nick Carmichael, business
development manager with Tractus Asia, gave a presentation about the
expansion of U.S. businesses into Asian economic markets. Craig Stoffel,
vice president of Global Logistics, hosted and emceed the event.
