For the second consecutive year, Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), a
premier transportation and logistics provider, has been recognized by Fortune
magazine in its annual list of the World's Most Admired Companies. The
ranking was based on survey results that evaluated companies in nine key
areas: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social
responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term
investment, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.

Fortune's World's Most Admired Companies list for 2011 surveyed
673 organizations, and only 12 transportation and logistics companies
made the final World's Most Admired Companies list. The listing will be
published in the March 7 issue of Fortune magazine. The survey
was conducted by Hay Group and began with approximately 1,400 companies
that were chosen from the Fortune 1000 listing, non-U.S.
companies in Fortune's Global 500 database with revenue of at
least $10 billion and the top foreign companies operating in the U.S.
